I have always been driven by curiosity, no matter what the topic is. I tend to do a deep dive to help orient myself in the material. I am a lifelong reader and literature fan. Growing up, my favourite day of the week was Friday when my dad would take us to our local library and we could check out 10 books for the week. I favoured supernatural stories in those days. Now I read almost anything that comes my way. Lately I have been reading hyper-local novels written by authors I have been lucky enough to meet at writers festivals and book readings.

As an equity trader I found my strength lay in my ability to cut through the dense material in reports and news releases to find the essence of the piece. As an editor, I can ensure that essence is brought to the forefront with clarity.
